It is located in the current Plaza de El Nel, in the center of the small garden that separates the two levels of the plaza. It was installed in 1988, the third centenary of the birth of the illustrious Franciscan, and is a replica of the bust of the one that presides over the Calvary-garden of the Holy Spirit monastery. It is due to the investigations of the Franciscan P. Sirera (‘Mossén Miquel’) that the place of birth of the illustrious ‘doctrinero’ is known:
“Registered was the file,
by Father Fr. Sirera,
who has discovered the prodigy,
how buried he is,
about two centuries ago ”.
So said the popular verses that the centennial ‘Aunt Rosa la Ginera’ repeated recalling her youth.
